Propolis Cream for Treatment of Acne & Boils
The cream helps in cases of acne (acne vulgaris) and boils (furuncle) of face and body. It helps in cases of imperfection-prone and irritated skin. It is used to treat acne that are inflamed, unopened and painful, and boils that are hard, painful, and inflamed, usually in unexpected parts of the body. It reduces symptoms of inflammatory disease, and has an antiseptic effect as it prevents development of bacterial infection. Additionally, it blocks entrance of the sebaceous duct (blocks hard and inflamed acne and boils), and supports epithelialization process in damaged skin.

Chemical composition:
All varieties of propolis consist of more than sixty chemical compounds. The most prominent constituents include flavonoids, cinnamic and caffeinic acid, benzoic acid (known for bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects), aldehyde (vanillin), and ferulic acid (antibacterial effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms). A chemical analysis of propolis has shown 55% resinous compounds and balsams, 30% beeswax, 10% essential oils, 5% bee pollen.
Directions for use: Apply a thick layer of the cream on cleansed skin, preferably in the evening. Cleanse the problematic and deep boils with 3 percent hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. Apply the cream and cover the area with sterile gauze.
Effects: Bactericidal, bacteriostatic, fungicidal, fungistatic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory antitoxic, locally anesthetic, biostimulating. Propolis is especially valuable for its natural antibiotic properties, which improve when combined with certain herbal tinctures. Propolis is a safe diet supplement, producing no negative side effects. It is a powerful infection fighter, killing viruses, bacterial and fungal invaders without harming the beneficial bacteria needed by the body to function properly even after a longer period of use. Propolis and herbal preparations are very effective in boosting the body's own immune system (protection of the body).
