| Propolis Ointment for Aid in Rheumatic Difficulties
For aid in rheumatic difficulties and massage in treating sports injuries
It is helpful in acute rheumatic disorders (pain, swelling and stiffness of joints), in sciatica, tendonitis, myoneuralgia, as well as local inflammation that affects cartilage, and is followed by pain, in sports injuries, such as wrenching and overstraining, in microtraumas and contusions, but with undamaged cutaneous and subcutaneous tissue. In addition, it is used in treating weariness and cramps in legs in a sports massage, and as an expedient when antirheumatic drugs are prescribed for chronic rheumatic inflammatory and degenerative diseases.
Ingredients: The ointment (100 mg) contains:

Chemical composition: All varieties of propolis consist of more than sixty chemical compounds. The most prominent constituents include flavonoids, cinnamic and caffeinic acid, benzoic acid (known for bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects), aldehyde (vanillin), and ferulic acid (antibacterial effect on Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms). A chemical analysis of propolis has shown 55% resinous compounds and balsams, 30% beeswax, 10% essential oils, 5% bee pollen.
Directions for use: Rub the ointment gently on the problem area several times per day. Wash hands with soap and warm water after use.
Effects: Bactericidal, bacteriostatic, fungicidal, fungistatic, antiviral, anti-inflammatory antitoxic, locally anesthetic, biostimulating. Propolis is especially valuable for its natural antibiotic properties, which improve when combined with certain herbal tinctures. Propolis is a safe diet supplement, producing no negative side effects. It is a powerful infection fighter, killing viruses, bacterial and fungal invaders without harming the beneficial bacteria needed by the body to function properly even after a longer period of use. Propolis and herbal preparations are very effective in boosting the body's own immune system (protection of the body).
