"Medicine and Technology", the international fair of medicine, pharmacy, laboratory and rehabilitation equipment, optics and dentistry was held from 21-24 May 2003 in the organization of the Zagreb Fair. A total of 450 exhibitors from 25 countries presented their exhibits on 11,000 square meters of exhibition space. |
| In the last four decades “Medicine and Technology” has become a respectable fair event in this part of Europe, and has been widely recognized by exhibitors from all parts of the world. The professional part of the fair was opened with a presentation of achievements of telemedicine. The central professional event of the fair was the Forum on Health Care and Technology. The events intended for general public included free checkups along with diagnosis and consultation with specialists in various fields. |
Although this was our first participation in the fair, we were very successful. Many visitors came to see our exhibits, and were also joined by the delegation of the Croatian Pharmaceutical Society headed by Mrs. Maja Jakševac-Mikša, Ph.D. Along with other products she was presented new assorted Ehinal products: Ehinal propolis and herbal drops for increasing the resistance of the organism, Ehinal honey syrup containing Echinacea tincture, propolis and vitamin C, and Ehinal capsules containing Echinacea for boosting the immune system of the body.
It was a great success for Apipharma to be one of the most visited exhibit areas in the fair. It proved that accepting natural products as modes of prevention and alleviation of problems of a great many diseases of the contemporary world is an increasing trend.
Encouraged by this success we shall continue to exhibit in the next "Medicine and Technology" Fair as well.
